Advantage Docks is an Edmonton based business proudly serving Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. We specialize in Custom Boat Dock/Pier manufacturing. Well thought out Design, Structural Integrity and Quality makes our Docks very user friendly for install, leveling and removal for your family to enjoy for many years.

Quality Materials

We use only 6061 Marine Grade Aluminum and 90% of the Dock is welded with TIG process by a certified Red Seal Journeyman Welder.

No other competitor uses a doubled up 2” x 1” structural rectangle tube on the truss side rail design to achieve most support possible. We also use 2 1/2” Structural Tube for our legs so strength and durability is always achieved.

Deck Options

Advantage Docks offers two choices for decking surface. Cedar is natural and environmentally safe to be put in lakes, which is why we use it. Cedar Decking option is Grade A deck board sanded on both sides and is our most popular option.

We also offer ThruFlow premium polypropylene decking that is a non slip, maintenance free option that will resist anything mother nature will throw at it.

Design

Advantage docks offers two choices for Dock support posts: posts through decking or telescopic posts below decking.

Advantage Docks takes into account leveling your dock or having to adjust height of dock up or down based on water levels during the season by using a maintenance free 18.8 Stainless Steel set bolt. Simply loosen bolt, adjust as needed and tighten back up. All leveling is done above the water so no more drilling new holes for pins underwater. Two set bolts per post also ensures tight contact between post and dock resulting in no wobble.

Cedar Sections

Our cedar sections recess flush inside our Dock frames so it’s locked in from wind or high waves and it also gives a beautiful border look to the top. The Cedar is easily removable in sections making our Dock lighter for transportation, install and removal at end of season. Cedar sections can also be stacked and covered so it doesn’t sit exposed to the elements 7 months of the season while not in use.

Moving and Storage

Advantage Docks takes moving and storage of docks into mind for all users. With our Cedar decking removed each 16’ section weighs 120lbs making it very manageable to move in and out of water over whatever terrain to lake access. Our posts are welded flush with the frame making stacking dock over winter in tight spaces easy as not every one has space for Dock to sit in sections on beach side by side.

Post Leg lengths fully customized
Foot pads or Wheels on end of legs

Posts can be welded inside or outside of the frame. Each section is designed so additions in the future easily attach and our docks mate up to other manufacturers using custom brackets as needed.

Gallery

Build configurations of left side or right side sitting areas, islands, L and T shapes along with U shapes to wrap your boat on every side is all achievable. We have performed many custom builds for customers wanting one of a kind docks to suit their needs. We are open to anything you can dream up.
